On Saturday April 16th at 2:21 pm EDT we experienced the peak energy of the full Moon at 26 degrees of Libra. There is a lot to say about this full Moon. The energy of the Libra full Moon influences the ability to transcend strife and rise above issues. You can feel above situations and as if you are being carried away and beyond the mundane towards something completely new. You can sail above issues and avoid more everyday, down-to-earth problems. Having a calm, objective and somewhat detached way of observing life reveals a lot to you. Don’t, however, get so far above things that you feel removed entirely from what’s really going on in reality.

The Sun is at about 28 degrees of Aries and making a square to Pluto at 28 degrees of Capricorn. The keyword that describes this challenging energy is tolerance. We are likely to feel the effects of this late degree square before it moves into Taurus. From April 15, all the way through April 20th, the Sun is engaging and that’s why it’s important because we are going to be dealing with this over the weekend and it will be active until Wednesday before the energy starts to dissipate.

This has been a bit of an emotional week for everyone. Mars and Saturn, squaring the Moons nodes brings emotional depth. The moon’s nodes and Saturn has to do with karma. It has to do with emotional ties and bonds and relationships from past lives, as well as the North Node, new relationships that are pulling us forward into new forms of self expression.

Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces can have a lot to do with confusion and chaos and not being clear about what to let go of and what to hold on to. These questions seem to be the major focus right now. What is the past and what is the future? Where am I going? What is this all about? Where’s the world going?

From the New Moon until the Full Moon .. There has been lots of tension here, so much energy is building in the United States and also on a personal level. We are going to feel the energy to move to do something. As I said a couple of weeks ago, the New Moon we had in Aries on April 1st was a call for action and motivation. So many people are feeling motivated to do something different, to break away and change things.

We have a volatile Full Moon in Libra coming to full light on April 16th. Normally a Full Moon in Libra is not a big deal. What’s challenging is the square to Pluto. This is super ignited full moon because the moon is opposing the sun, which is always about tension. Then we have the Pluto alignment going on, which again, represents government agencies and corporations which brings a lot of tumultuous tension. The Libra full Moon has to do with the public. This has to do with the office of the White House. There is tension between Pluto in our second house of money and finances. On the full Moon we have a giant T square that is activating the United States financially. This can bring conflict in partnerships and rebelling against something on a personal level. It could be again, personal conflicts and relationships that might be ending on a personal level.

This weeks Astrology News covers the upcoming full moon that is at its peak of light in Virgo on March 18th. Since the new moon in Pisces on March 2nd, which was right beside Jupiter in Pisces, showed us a glimpse of what could unfold especially through the exact alignment of Jupiter and Neptune on April 12th.

What I love about this full Moon is that it is very positive. It forms a grand trine, a harmonious and supportive energy with Pluto in Capricorn and the North Node in the earth sign Taurus. There is also 2 diamond soul energy’s or kites being formed. One points to this beautiful group of planets in Pisces.

This inspires us to be compassionate, sensitive, empathetic and believe that we are safe and secure even in the face adversity.

The other diamond or kite points to the South Node and supports us to recognize and identify patterns of behavior from the past related to other peoples values, financial areas, money, investments, unhealthy and toxic behaviors as well as the shadow sides of our being. Scorpio energy supports a deep dive into areas of our past where we can identify what has been packed away and hidden. Once identified, like the phoenix, we are able to transform pain into strength.

So, there is this very solid feeling of building power or stepping into our power and building things that are solid and sturdy, that hold value and will be sustainable.

The Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune and Sun cluster of planets inspires us to be dedicated to a spiritual path. It also is supportive of identifying some deeply trapped or hidden feelings or emotions, especially as we get closer to April 12th.

Some deeper insight into Neptune. Is it the field of dreams or a den of illusion? Is it the Holy Grail or an outlandish planet? From the divine to the ridiculous, this planet defies description, evades the “real” world and reminds us that this earthly plane is one small manifestation of true reality. There is much to love and much to hate about this giant gas planet that is intent on dissolving our attachment to the physical realm.

There are some other things I want to point out which grow stronger strengthen within a day of this full Moon. That is the Mars and Venus conjunction in Aquarius which is square to Uranus at 12 degrees of Taurus.

This brings a strong urge for freedom. A strong urge for human rights and rebellious, revolutionary energy. This energy could bring a lot of protests and demonstrations.

This weeks Astrology News covers the historical Neptune, Jupiter and Sun in Pisces alignments and what occurred in the world during these times, the ingress of Venus and Mars into Aquarius, some of 2022’s important dates to take note of and the upcoming Saturn in Aquarius square to the North Node in Taurus and the South Node in Scorpio. Full of imaginative potential and vulnerability, the transit of Jupiter in Pisces will move across the astrological landscape of 2022 like a wave. As on any journey across the ocean, we need to mindfully monitor the shifting winds and adjust our navigation in accordance with the changing currents below and the turning of the stars above. Keeping track of our direction is even more important than normal, as the mystical and otherworldly presence of Neptune awaits Jupiter below the waves of Pisces. This is like a portal to another dimension as the combining of Neptune and Jupiter deforms perspectives in ways that can lead us astray as well as open awareness to important sources of inspiration and creativity.

Jupiter returned to its watery home of Pisces on December 28, 2021 after previously occupying Pisces from 13 May until 28 July 2021. Jupiter will then move through its ocean home, in less than five months, it enters Aries on May 10, 2022 after its initial entrance into Aries, Jupiter will come back home to Pisces on October 28, 2022 for a stay, until leaving Pisces for a final time on December 20, 2022. The conjunction between Jupiter and Neptune will take place on April 12, 2022 at twenty-four degrees of Pisces. The influence of Neptune upon Jupiter intensifies once Jupiter moves within fifteen degrees of Neptune on January 27th. Jupiter remains within fifteen degrees of Neptune for the rest of 2022 (ending the year within nine degrees of Neptune), creating a lingering effect from their conjunction that lasts well beyond their April meeting.

Astrologer Dane Rudhyar stated that the cycle between Jupiter and Neptune is one of the most important to pay attention to for historical purposes, in addition to the eclipse cycle and the Jupiter and Saturn cycle.

This month two planets, Venus and Mars, who have a natural polarity with each other will be conjunct all month. As the month begins they will also be conjunct Pluto and all three will be in Capricorn. On March 5 they both transit into Aquarius. Venus pertains to relationships and money. It was conjunct Pluto in December when it was both direct and retrograde and now it is direct but again conjunct Pluto. Pluto pertains to transformation. From a social standpoint, this alignment challenges us to be clear both within ourselves as well as to a partner about what we need and what we can offer in relationships. Venus conjunct Pluto brings emotion and honesty between the people creating more trust and intimacy.

As Venus pertains to finances, this conjunction brings up the potential to transform our financial assets which ensures the potential for material security. From a collective place, we are experiencing this transformation through escalating interest rates that are being used to limit the inflation we have been experiencing. We’ve also heard about raising corporate tax rates to pay for legislation that increases our social safety circle. Pluto rules taxes and debt. Pluto conjunct Venus can lead to the beginning of a new financial system that is focused on income equality while at the same time maintains our financial security both individually and collectively in our country

Venus represents the feminine or female qualities. Venus energies are receptive and focused on harmony and equality. It is graceful, thoughtful and diplomatic. Mars represents the masculine or male qualities. which are assertive, courageous, authentic and self-affirming. When Venus and Mars are conjunct in a birth chart, it can indicate a person who is seen by others as charming. It means they may be quite comfortable with their their feminine and masculine qualities. In a universal chart, which shows transitting influences, this combination of energies can drive us to change social behaviors and focus on our needs in any relationship.

Mars is exalted in Capricorn, meaning it is able to act naturally expressing the strongest qualities of that sign. Some of the natural influences of Mars in Capricorn are ambition, competition and motivated. So, Venus influences may not be very successful as Mars can be too strong. People may behave aggressively (Mars) or controlling (Capricorn) and the feminine or Venusian need for harmony and equality can feel overwhelmed and lost. This is true this week, at the start of March when intense and powerful Pluto is conjoined with Mars and Venus. So, how can Venus make a contribution to this powerful combination of planets in a positive way?

Capricorn has a lot to do with defining and achieving goals. The Venus in Capricorn influence can help us to be clear about what we need (and can contribute) in relationships. It likes to build a relationship slowly and methodically so that each person can share themselves with their partner. Venus in Capricorn is loyal, it needs to know that there is a harmonious and solid connection before any commitment is made. Venus contributes the desire to share, negotiate and compromise so that everyone’s needs are considered in the relationship meaning it can soften the Mars, aggressive influences.

On Sunday March 6th, Mars and Venus move into Aquarius, and signifies progressive change. This new energy can be tolerant, inclusive and kind. It is comfortable being independent but can also focus on improving the quality of life for everyone. With Venus and Mars in Aquarius, the inspiration is to be open to radical changes both socially and to needs in of relationships. Aquarius inspires comfort with innovation and experimenting.

If we focus on integrating our feminine and masculine energies, we are then more capable of bringing our whole self to a relationship. This supports us to be our authentic self can lead to both personal empowerment and liberation through the relationship as well as increasing the level of fulfillment for all concerned.
