First and foremost I hope this e-mail finds you well as we continue on our earthly journeys of life. On Tuesday February 19, 2019 we will experience a Super Full Moon at 0 degrees of Virgo. Super Moon means very close to Earth, very bright, very powerful and enlightening. So lets be precise because that is precisely what Virgo has the ability to do. Little things matter and make a huge difference. Virgo is the worker bee so now is the time to pay close attention to your work and you’ll find what’s highlighted are very important areas to focus on. You will be more inclined to pay extra attention to the finer details because they will make a difference.
Every zodiac sign is ruled by a planet and Virgo is ruled by Mercury which means that you may find your thoughts keep returning to your work. This is a great time to recognize areas of your work that require extra attention. Let’s not forget the full moon occurs at 0 degrees which means whatever details are realized are critical at this time. These details could deliver perfection to whatever project your involved with. Virgo also brings attention to your health and important areas you should focus on. There is a method involved and steps will be recognized that can be taken toward achieving perfection. Virgo is best at breaking things down, analyzing them and then reorganization is achieved. Virgo is an earth sign so a practical and more logical perspective is possible on this full moon. If you are a Virgo you will feel the influences of this full moon the most. If you were born around the 19th of any month you will feel the most affected by this full moon. It means that this is a critical time for you. It means that whatever you become aware of matters very much and is very important. Most likely it will have something to do with your work or your health. It could feel like someone shined a huge spotlight on an area of your life and you now have clarity and it’s simply a matter of accepting what has been revealed and adapting this critical piece of information into your life.
This is the first full moon we’ve experienced since the total lunar eclipse occurred on January 21, 2019. New directions were revealed at that time in matters surrounding your heart, romance, creative expression and in matters related to your children. Of course the area of your life highlighted for change and new direction would be different for every individual. But whatever it was would be an area of emotional focus. It’s so interesting how there is a growing focus on matters concerning childrens health and immunizations in the news. As the growing light of the moon is seen every night, so will the focus on health and work. Full Moons are a time when the Sun and Moon are in opposite places bringing awareness to what we need to know.
The full moon forms the foot of a Yod. This foot is in the 4th house of this universal chart which brings attention to family and the health of the family. It shows us where there is conflict and where certain adjustments will have to be made in order to bring resolve. Because the foot of this Yod is in Virgo on this full moon and is opposite the Sun in Pisces in the 10th house, it brings up what we do out in the world as our career or just how we’re seen by the world. The spot light will be on the health of families, the health of the work environment and where there is a depth of emotion attached and a duality of opinions and feelings will be expressed. Pisces is ruled by Neptune and Jupiter which means there is an expanded realization of where deep suffering is coming from. Full moons are great for revealing what needs to be revealed. This full moon is great for identifying these areas that need nurturing.
The asteroid Chiron has just recently moved into Aries showing where action can be taken for self healing. In this universal chart it indicates that humanity as a whole is seeking new and untried methods. As Chiron is considered a maverick, unusual and different methods or inventions that deliver healing to the whole will be best. New and untried ideas which are experimental should be considered. Chiron in the 11th house tells a story that no one is different and that we are all connected. Chiron is labeled the wounded healer because as the story goes the wound carried the knowledge required to survive and heal.
Around the time of this full moon we see Uranus on the cusp of moving out of Aries and into Taurus and also joining Mars in Taurus in the sky. This can bring unexpected, sudden activity and shifts to the earth and financial sectors as Taurus is an earth sign. The full moon in Virgo reveals this underlying activity. Uranus shifts into Taurus completely by March 6. Mars is the action planet and Uranus’s vibration is one that delivers the unexpected.
Neptune and Mercury are side by side in Pisces in the 11th house which means that there are deeply, sensitive conversations (Mercury) taking place about what is best for everyone and how topics such as boundaries (Neptune) can best be managed. Jupiter is in Sagittarius in the 8th house of this chart and is just past squaring Mercury and Neptune so the challenge has been and will continue to be how can we transition through this time and resolve these deep issues.
Of course there is so much more I can write about. Astrology reveals a wealth of information and we are so lucky to have access to this information. Remember it’s not something to believe in but something we have access to learn about. You can look at it as a guiding light that offers enlightenment to life.
