| Last call for registration for Astrology Classes beginning this Thursday May 7th from 6-8 p.m. The time is here to shift our focus to developing our minds through avenues where new knowledge can be found. The Northnode (focus on new directions) and it moves into Gemini (information gatherer) this week just prior to the Full Moon in Scorpio (revealer of the best kept secrets) on Thursday. This brings an emotional intensity around uncovering hidden mysteries with a new focus toward transforming our minds. In the first group of 4 classes, we will start with the planets, explaining where they are physically, the cycles they follow and how they influence us. Expand your knowledge and you will transform your mind. FULL MOON IN SCORPIO THURSDAY MAY 7th 7:59 A.M. EDT Anytime a Full Moon is approaching there is an emotional intensity that heightens as the theme of the month comes to a peak. Full Moons do bring a sense of completion. This is exactly what’s happening this week. The Full Moon occurs at 17 degrees of Scorpio and it squares Mars in Aquarius and the Sun and Mercury in Taurus. This brings an intensity of focus to our money, resources to earn it and can help us to identify how we can change this. This is a powerful configuration that tells that we are in need to discover new ways to survive as it carries a strength of fixivity meaning it naturally fights change but has the strength to overcome. It can reveal what we can do something about and what we have to accept for now. It reveals the level of control that we’re all feeling along with the frustrations and anger over the changes and limitations on movement within our communities. Scorpio is the zodiac sign that influences the uncovering of things that are hidden. It identifies what can be transformed. It is the energy of the great detective who’s able to uncover secrets and can bring revelations of how we can transition through our current situations. The square to Mars from the Full Moon will be emotionally intense on the 7th and can cause intense pressurized feelings of rebellion. Mercury will square Mars over the weekend and this can see us all mentally processing and accepting things we have no choice or ability to change. There is a supportive trine being formed to Neptune in Pisces at this time by the Full Moon. A trine means relief and Neptune offers resources that we cannot touch but can feel. Reminds us to keep the faith and it raises the vibration for compassion and understanding of each other during this changing time. This aspect is also supportive of resolve that comes through meditation or prayer. It’s an uplifting energy that’s supportive of emotional relief from fear and the darker side of Scorpio which can be fear of death, change or loss. As the Sun and Mercury continue on their path through Taurus they will form supportive trines to Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn. This provides a strength and staying power to look at our relationships with our past methods, our careers as we realize what we can build on, the tools we’ll need to do so and what we must let go of. There can be a level of relief that comes from big businesses and governing forces.
